Coaching, Counseling, and Corrective Action – Training Module

This is a Best Practices, due-process corrective action system. It not only introduces uniformity by way of an easy-to-navigate User’s Guide, it also provides sample warnings and step-by-step guidelines for use by your Supervisors. This system instills a sense of fairness for employees, provides guardrails between which management will operate, seeks to remove surprise, and is legally compliant. Labor attorneys have said this is the most well-thought out, easily absorbed, and legally compliant system they have seen.

UPON PURCHASE – you will receive a Leader’s Guide that includes a Cover Sheet, Table of Contents and 10 Sections: including a sample policy, SOP, Required Recordkeeping, and Individual step-by-step directions on how to effectively use Coaching and Counseling.  Also covered are individual sections on Verbal, Written, and Final Warnings (with sample documents).  Additional sections: How to handle Terminations if they become necessary, and Conducting Internal Investigations.  Lastly, we include Appendices on 1) Protected Groups & Actions, 2) Post Termination inquiries (How to handle References and Unemployment Claims), 3) Legal Terms, 4) State-by-State Final Paycheck Requirements, 5) Sample Forms & Documents in Word or Excel, and 6) An optional Termination Appeal Process.  YOU CAN EASILY MODIFY THESE MATERIALS FOR FIT WITH YOUR COMPANY & USE IMMEDIATELY.   

ON DAY OF TRAINING – we will cover how to use the above in an interactive session that will include exercises.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT ON DAY OF TRAINING – Participants will work with the materials above provided upon purchase.  At the beginning of our training session, participants will also follow along and engage with a presentation and exercises.  Participants should arrive with a fully charged Laptop, or Tablet.
